What Is An Expat?

I’ve uploaded the pictures from our trip to the Philippines during the second half of February. We visited Manila, some sites around there, Dumaguete on Negros, and Alona Beach at Bohol. We dove, saw tarsiers (world’s smallest primate), went to waterfalls and up a river, saw an island on a lake in a volcano on an island in a lake on an island in the ocean, visited the American / Filipino war memorial and cemetary, saw a couple of malls…you know. We explored a bit and relaxed more.

Oh yeah, we’re on vacation again. As a matter of fact we’re at the halfway point. We flew into Manila, spent a few days, saw an island in a volcanic lake on an island in a lake on an island in the ocean. We went to one beach resort in Dumaguete (Dauin actually) in Negros and are now at another in Bohol. We spend another few days here, then back to Manila for a couple days, and then back to the daily grind in the UAE, though of course the added element of needing to find the next job will be present as well.
